Welcome to the opening of Metal-Expo’2018, the 24th International Industrial Exhibition in Moscow!
Metal has always been the symbol of progress and transition of the civilization from the Stone Age to a totally new level of development. It is true in our age as well despite us using synthetic materials and the most up-to-date digital technologies. Today products of the steel industry, mechanic engineering, and metalworking are and will be significant to all the industry segments.
Your show as always exhibits the most interesting solutions. It is important to note that the biggest part of the exposition exhibits Russian equipment made with the application of innovative technologies. It being in good demand in our country successfully competes with foreign analogues. Moreover, it is widely used in industrial residential and road building and in implementations of the most large-scale projects on which economic development and living standards depend. Without your products building of the Crimea Bridge and the FIFA World Cup’2018 in particular would be impossible.
In my belief, the conferences, seminars, and roundtables held during the exhibitions will provide you a good opportunity to discuss further prospects of the industry and develop concrete proposals raising investments and economic potential.

Metal-Expo’2018 International Exhibition is a significant event for the Russian steel industry, the base of the real sector of the national economy accounting for 4.5% of the GDP and creating more than 700k of highly productive jobs.
The exhibition always brings together on one platform leading Russian and international steel companies, tubes and hardware producers, engineering companies, and steel products users. At the event the exhibitors show their latest solutions, share advanced experience and know-how and conclude mutually beneficial contracts.
A defining feature of the exhibition are specialized roundtables and panel discussions focused on implementation of scientific and practical industrial innovations meeting users’ growing requirements for products’ quality in various segment of the steel industry.
