IMH Enterprises are Recognized as Leaders of Interfax-Era Ecological Rating

Companies of Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH), Metal-Expo regular exhibitors, took first places in their industries in the annual rating of ecological and energy efficiency. 

PJSC Koks is recognized as the best coke and chemical industry enterprise in Russia and Kazakhstan (2nd place in the Mineral Roasting Group). Also, the plant ranked first in the Kuzbass rating for technological efficiency.

Kombinat KMAruda ranked the first among the iron ore producers (3rd place in the group “Mining of ores and chemical raw materials”). In addition, the company is recognized as a leader in energy and technological efficiency in its segment.

Tulachermet, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, took the first place among the metallurgical enterprises referred by the Agency’s experts to the Metal Casting group. The plant showed the best dynamics of performance indicators among similar enterprises.

Berezovskaya washing plant became the second among coal washing enterprises (13th place in the Mineral Processing Group). The plant took the first place in the “Transparency” category among enterprises of its segment.

The use of the best available technologies in the field of environmental protection is one of the basic principles of IMH operation. Emission reduction strategy is implemented at all enterprises of the holding, five enterprises are certified according to the international standard ISO 14001.

When calculating the rating, such factors as environmental emissions, costs of materials, fuel, heat and electricity, as well as the volume of output were taken into account. In total, 5899 companies from Russia and Kazakhstan took part in the rating.
