Denis Manturov visited metallurgical enterprises in the Volgograd Region

First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov has undertaken a working visit to the Volgograd Region. Accompanied by the regional governor, Andrei Bocharov, and the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, he visited a number of industrial enterprises in the region, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

During the trip, Denis Manturov and Andrei Bocharov discussed the implementation of key investment projects, in particular, the new production of flat stainless steel rolled products, which is being created by  'Russian Stainless Company' LLC. Manturov noted that the production is planned to be launched by the end of the year.

The First Deputy Prime Minister also visited the Krasny Oktyabr plant, which produces metal products for the automotive, oil and gas, chemical and other industries.

The Volzhsky Pipe Plant (part of TMK) was also visited, with its focus on producing popular products for the oil and gas sector, chemical and other industries. The workshop visited by Denis Manturov was commissioned in 1990, has undergone modernisation and is now focused on the production of high-tech hot-rolled pipes.

Representatives of Russian Stainless Company, Krasny Oktyabr Corporation and TMK will take part in the 11th International Conference 'Stainless Steel and the Russian Market' to be held on 10-11 April 2025 in St. Petersburg. The conference will also include a meeting of the coordination council of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for metallurgy 'Development of Stainless Steel Production in the Russian Federation', which will be attended by heads of enterprises and organisations invited by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
