Oil and Gas Systems are implementing an investment project for construction of Sukhodol Plant for Special Heavy Machine Building.
Sukhodol Plant for Special Heavy Machine Building is the newest and most advanced production facility in CIS and Europe. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for the complete production cycle, the products being large-sized blanks of complex shape.
The key production unit is the hydraulic double-action press with the force of 140 MN. The unique characteristics of the press (working space 6000 mm high, 5000 mm wide, 5000 long) , as well as three-position table and additional internal slide make it possible to die-forge very complex-shaped products being heated only once, thus guaranteeing quality improvement and production costs cutting.
The estimated plant capacity of 40 000 t/y is to cover production of forged and die-forged pieces with a weight ranging from 600 to 20 000 kg using round blanks and flat sheets. The products to be produced at the plant are meant for various industrial sectors, such as valve industry, apparatus building, energy sector, oil and gas production, etc.
