BSW (Byelorussian Steel Works) Receives Awards and New Contracts at Metal Expo'2020
Metal-Expo’2020, the 26th International Industrial Exhibition finished in Moscow on November 13. The exhibion was fruitful and very productive for OJSC "BSW - management company of "BMC" holding". The company received several industrial awards, as well as made new contracts for the supply of metal products in Q1 2021.
Traditionally the market of Russian Federation plays an important role in Byelorussian Steel Works sales structure. According to performance in January – October 2020, more than 245 thou. t. of metal products were sold here, which is approx. 15% oftotalexportofourplant. This year the company has shipped 11 types of produced metal products to Russia. Key positions are taken by rebars, pipes, bronzed wire and steel cord. By the way, shipment of rebar in physical terms increased by more than a quarter vs. the same period of 2019.
Meetings and negotiations held at "Metal Expo 2020" testify that Russian customers are interested to carry on collaboration with BSW in 2021. It is about sales of different types of rolled products, pipes and products manufactured in steel wire shops.
As already noted, along with products delivery agreements, the exhibition gave several industrial awards to the plant. So, English version of reference book 'Defects of steel billets and metal products’ created by BSW team was awarded silver medal in the contest of publications by metallurgical companies and science-research organizations. The company’s newspaper ‘Metallurg’ was recognized as laureate in ‘Best corporate mass media in metallurgical sector of Russia and CIS – 2020’: the editorial staff was awarded a Cup and Diploma.
The stand of Byelorussian Steel Works was also highly appreciated by organizers and participants of ‘Metal Expo 2020’. It was decorated with creative works of Leonid Velichko (an artist). HeisveteranofworkatBSW. At the end of exhibition the company received a Cup for ‘Best exposition’ and Diploma ‘Highly professional organization of promotion of products and services’.
