Metal-Expo to become an Associated Member of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs

Council of Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers with Metal-Expo Director General as a member has made a decision to become a member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. All the departments and committees of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were presented by Mrs. Svetlana Stepanova, Deputy Director of Department for Cooperation with Industrial Unions, Mr. Anton Bazulev, Executive Secretary of Committee for Mining and Metallurgical Complex and Mr. Vladimir Lavrishchev, a representative of the Union of Employers.

It is clear that in the nearest future the role of such unions will become more important. Mr. Bazulev who is in charge of relations with governmental bodies in the Novolipets Iron and Steel Works Group stated that the government has commissioned the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to know businessmen’s opinion and to discuss actual problems. The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs can solve some legislative problems, Mr. Bazulev continues.
Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers becoming a member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will help us to understand the situation better and enable us to agree at some points related to the economy and the balance of interests, said Mrs. Stepanova.
Mr. Bazulev added that the time is now. The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs as a key mechanist of cooperation between businessmen and government is interested in cooperation with consumers to form their consolidated opinion.
