Best Types of Metal and Steel Products for Construction to Get Promotion

Today Mr. A. Romanov, President of Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers, Co-Chairman of MetalStroyForum’2009 and Metal-Expo’2009 Organizing Committee has held a meeting for Committee of the All-Russia Competition for Modern Types of Metal and Steel Products for Construction. The competition will be held during MetallStroyFroum’2009, International Exhibition for Metal and Steel Products and Structures for Construction (March 18-21, 2009, the All-Russia Exhibition Center). The main task of the competition is to attract the attention of market participants to new achievements of engineers in the field of new types of rolled products and steel structures for construction.
Mr. E. Shakhpazov, Director General, TSNIIChermet and Mr. V. Larionov, Director General of TSNIIPSK have been elected Co-Chairmen of the Committee. Some 50 works are expected to be submitted to the competition. The winners of the competition will become heads and professionals of enterprises and companies who have paid a weighty personal tribute to development of construction in Russia. Besides, the Committee will consider works submitted by scientific and research institutions, as well as steel and construction companies.
The winner will elected on an open election. Besides, the Committee has also discussed the program of events to be held during MetallStroyForum including conferences presentations and seminars.
